.Iran - 10,000 Rials ND2017

This is an odd note of 10000 rials issued in 2017 (nd). Like all previously issued notes, the front of the note is printed with the portrait of late Ayatollah Ruthollah Khomeini and on the back depicts the Tomb of Hafez. Hafez was a 14th century writer and is considered one of the greatest Persian poets. The tomb is located in the city of Shiraz. It is not sure when Hafez was born but he died in 1389. Hafez was born Khwaja Shams-ud-Din Muhammad Hafez-e Shieazi. The tomb is set in a garden-like surrounding and is a tourist attraction in Shiraz.
