..Iran - 500000 Rials Emergency Cheque P154d 2014-2015

This is the single 500,000 rials emergency cheque that I have for this series. It is believed that this was issued between 2014 and 2015. This note features the dome of Imam Reza mosque situated in Mashhad on the front and on the back is the Esmail Talayi fountain also in Mashhad. The fountain is situated in the Imam Reza mosque's court.
 
The Imam Reza mosque is a complex which contains the mausoleum of Iman Reza. Imam Reza was the eight Imam of Twelver Shias. The Imam Reza mosque is also the largest mosque in the world and no doubt is also a tourist center in Iran too. It is believed that the Imam mosque was established around 818 AD. It has eight minarets and the mosque is located in an area of over 267,000 square metres.
 
The signature on this note, I believe, belongs to Valiollah Seyf.
 
This note has since been replaced by the 2017 series.
