many of the banknotes posted here do not need descriptions. the designs are beautiful enough for me to add any more details - a picture is worth a thousand words

On 25.11.2020, it changed its name again, and this times to Saudi Central Bank. However, the bank retains the SAMA acronym, despite the name changed.

This note is issued to celebrate 5th Anniversary of the Launch of 'Vision 2030'. The Saudi Arabia Vision 2030 was first launched 25.04.2016. This Vision 2030 is a strategic framework to reduce the country's dependence on oil, to diversify its economy, and develop it's public service sectors such as health, education, infrastructure, recreation, and tourism by 2030.

On the front of the note, it depicts the portrait of the King of Saudi Arabia, King Salam bin Abdulaizi Al Saud (b.1935). For this portrait, the King is wearing a difference keffiyeh headgear and is also wearing glasses. On this portrait is also showing the king with a heavier and longer beard. The commemorative logo for the 'Vision 2030' is printed in the middle. The 3D commemorative logo design is printed on the bottom left corner. This note is printed with bilingual languages, with Arabic and English on the front and English on the back.

On the back, the main feature is the Qasr al Hukm building in Riyadh city. This building was built by King Abdulaziz al Saudi (1875-1953) after he took Riyadh in 1901 and was once the seat of the Kingdom's government.
