.Cyprus - 1979 to 1989 Issues

This is an odd note of 500 mils first introduced in 1964. In all there were 12 varieties issued. the note was issued between 1964 to 1979. The note that I have uploaded here was the last print and was replaced by a 1982 new series.

Five Hundred Mils, Dated 01.09.1979 P42cReverse

This was a 1982 series of 1 pound with four varieties issued. This series started in 1982 and ended in 1985. Two issues were released with the date of 1982.


One Pound, Dated 01.11.1982 P50
Revere

This is a 50 sent/cents printed with the date of 01.11.1989. The sent was the subdivision of the pound. One pounds equals 100 sent. Prior to 1983, the subdivision currency was known as mil.
