.Bhutan - 1000 Ngultrum Dated 2016

This is another 1000 Ngultrum printed with the year date of 2016. Two notes with the value of 1000 Ngultrum were printed with the year date of 2016. The other one was the commemorative note celebrating the birth of his Royal Highness, Gyalsey, Jigme Namgyel Wangchuck (dob 05.02.2016). The two notes are identically the same but for the commemorative note, the text of "Celebrating the Birth of The Gyalsey February 5th 2016" are added to the note and it's printed with the letter W and on the back, it also printed with the text - BIRTH OF THE PRINCE OF BHUTAN all in upper case. This normal note posted on this site is printed with the letter R.

This note is predominantly printed in yellow colour. I believe yellow is also the royal colour of the Royal family in Bhutan.
