.Kazakhstan - 1000 Tenge Dated 2011 Chairmanship in the Organisation of the Islamic Conference Commemorative

This is a commemorative note issued in 2011 to celebrate Kazakhstan hosting the Organisation of the Islamic Conference (OIC). The conference was held in Astana on 28.06.2011, the capital of Kazakhstan. The OIC was founded in 1969. During the conference in Astana, it changed its name to Organisation of the Islamic Corporation. The OIC has a total members of 57 nations with a combined population of approximately 1.81 billion. This is the only commemorative note issue for this celebration.
