.Kazakhstan - 5000 Tenge 2008 ND2008 15th Year of National Currency Commemorative

The Kazakhstan Tenge was born following the collapse of the Soviet Empire in 1991. Whilst independence was in 1991, the new currency was not introduced until in 1993. This note is issued to celebrate the country's 15th year of National currency Tenge.

  1. Wonder whats the main reason for having vertical and horizontal designs on the banknotes? At times, find them rather confusing to look at. Thanks alot for sharing, paperbanknotes :)
