These are six notes from the 2006 issue. This is considered as a full set as both the 50 and 1000 Ngultrum notes were not released in 2006. The 2006 is a new family of notes replacing previous series, first issued in 1985. Both the 50 and 1000 Ngultrum were released in 2008.

ReplyDeleteYes, I agree with you on the design of their notes. The Government of Bhutan are quite protective of their own culture, and it's good to see them doing this. Just look at some of the Asian countries. It's like a concrete jungle out there!
