many of the banknotes posted here do not need descriptions. the designs are beautiful enough for me to add any more details - a picture is worth a thousand words

Here are the series of the 2003 issued from one to 100 riyals. Unfortunately I do not have the 500 riyals to complete this series.

Even the Emir is the Head of State, none of their portraits are printed on their banknotes. I believe there is a valid reason for this but I cannot confirm this and as such would not like to comment here.
