...Nepal - 10 Rupees Polymer Commemorative 2002 King's Silver Jubilee Accession's To the Throne

This is a 10 rupee polymer commemorative note issued in 2002 commemorating King Gyanendra Bir Bikram Shah Dev's 50 year accession to the Throne. Gyanendra Shah was born in 1947 and was briefly the King of Nepal between 1950 to 1951, following the exile of his grandfather and his entire family. He was then re-installed as the King of Nepal following the death of his nephew, Dipendra Bir Bikram Shah,  from self-inflicted wounds. He was then deposed as the king of Nepal in 2008, when Nepal became a republic.
